1. Access to the facility
It is mandatory to notify the owners of the arrival and departure of guests, for legal registration purposes. Anyone found not to be in compliance is committing an offense as provided and punished by law. Visitors are also required to request authorization to enter. It is also mandatory to communicate arrival and departure times for the delivery and return of keys.
2. Rules of conduct
In a collective residence such as Il Giardino nel Parco, the behavior of each guest must be based, in relations with other guests and cleaning staff, on observing those fundamental rules of tolerance, respect, and cooperation that guarantee daily coexistence.
The guest is required to maintain order and protect the living environment in common areas. They must also ensure the premises are locked in their absence, and in any case, take all actions of a good tenant to prevent the intrusion of strangers into the entire facility during their stay.
Silence must be observed during the afternoon (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm) and night hours (11:00 pm – 7:30 am). The use of the television is allowed only at low volume.
It is forbidden to:
1) reserve any part of the common areas for personal use, occupy them, or otherwise prevent their use by other guests
2) disturb other guests
3) frequent the common areas in pajamas, or in any case, in worn-out clothing not appropriate to the dignity of the guests and the house
4) keep flammable materials, harmful or radioactive substances, light candles of any kind, or any other type of “open flame” in the common areas or inside the rooms
5) throw or deposit garbage or waste outside the appropriate containers
6) throw materials into the drains that could clog the pipes
7) make changes to the premises or furniture
8) tamper with the electrical, heating, or plumbing systems
9) use stoves or cookers of any kind other than those provided
10) smoke inside the entire house, including rooms
11) keep weapons of any kind
12) possess and/or use drugs
13) light fires
3. Damages, soiling, loss/non-return of keys
In case of damage or soiling of the building, furniture, objects, appliances provided, or loss or non-return of keys before departure, the damage caused must be paid for by the responsible party. Such payments must be made immediately and in cash.
4. Legal responsibilities
Anyone who causes damage to the building, furniture, objects, or appliances provided is held legally responsible under current regulations. Thefts and intentional damage are immediately reported. Il Giardino nel Parco assumes no responsibility for valuables (money, jewelry, mobile phones, notebooks, and the like, etc.) left in guests’ rooms or in common areas.
To ensure a peaceful stay, the owners are authorized to remove anyone who does not comply with the rules.
5. Arrivals and departures
Entry to the room cannot take place outside the hours specified above ("Services") on the day of arrival, unless specifically agreed upon at the time of booking. In any case, the expected arrival time must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. In case of delay, the customer must notify by phone. The room must be vacated of belongings and people by 10:00 am on the day of departure unless specifically authorized. Anyone leaving after this time will be charged for an additional day.
6. Daily cleaning
The cleaning of rooms, bathrooms, and common areas is carried out daily throughout the day; the manager reserves the right to access for these essential operations.
7. Pets
Guests’ pets, brought in upon specific request and authorization, remain at all times and in all circumstances the sole responsibility of the guest, who will be fully liable for them. The owners reserve the right to request the removal of animals that cause damage or excessive disturbance. In such cases, the guest will not be entitled to any refund for any interruption of the stay caused by this event.
8. Jurisdiction
In case of disputes, Italian law applies and jurisdiction lies with the Court of Bologna. Confirmation of the booking implies the Client’s knowledge and acceptance of the conditions and specific regulations of the facility and those provided by law.
